Role Summary
Will be part of highly motivated and affluent individuals whose function is to process all Incoming Confirmations tasks across the FX and Precious Metals Options business, focusing and ensuring the timely confirmation retrieval within the regulatory requirements. Inbound confirmation process refers to Indexing, Matching, Affirmation and Chasing.
Need to ensure risk is mitigated for affirmation and matching of confirmations with timely and accurate processing.
Ensuring regulatory requirement, Group standards and compliance are adhered to at all times and Best Practice Guidelines are followed.
Role and Responsibilities:
Execution of post trade timely processing and controls for all Inbound Forex and Precious Metals Option Confirmations.
Being involved in Indexing, Matching, Affirmation and Chasing.
Validation and dispatching of confirmations in line with policy and regulatory timelines
Develop key relationships with other support functions in within DC and the client.
Ensure best practice is achieved.
Coordinating Language Negotiations with Legal/Desk and Clients.
Drive Master Confirmation Agreement.
Risk management
Ensure required KRI data and MI is collated and delivered on time.
Adherence to all policy and regulations as they pertain to the role and product coverage.
Ensure timely dispatch of Confirmation and strict adherence to Confirmation matching.
Periodical MI submitted accurately and in line with customer and business needs.
Problem situations are proactively identified, resolved and escalated to give maximum customer satisfaction.
Job requirements
Experience and Qualifications:
Degree in accounting/finance/management/business administration with minimum 2-5 years of experience in Derivative Ops. Experience in Confirmations processes would be an added advantage.
Knowledge about FX and Precious Metals Options operations.
Ability to learn quickly and transfer knowledge appropriately.
Possess knowledge on MS Office with good numerical and analytical skills.
Ability to multitask.
Able to work under challenging environment with tight timelines.
Attention to detail.
