KYC Analyst

Location: New York

Permanent / Full-Time


We are looking for a KYC/AML Analyst to join our Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) team to initially support one of our clients in a KYC/AML Analyst role. You will be part of our US CLM Business that supports a number of clients in the region with a broad range of KYC/AML and anti-financial crime services. The initial role will require you to augment into our client’s existing team and support a number of KYC/AML and Customer Due Diligence related activities within the first line of defense for new client onboarding, periodic review, and event driven reviews.

The preferred candidate will have some relevant KYC/AML and CDD experience within financial services supported by great attention to detail, organizational and communication skills, and an ability to work in high-pressured environments and to tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing new client onboarding and/or periodic KYC reviews for our client.
  • Gathering and analyzing KYC documentation in accordance with the client’s AML policy requirements to identify and close any gaps.
  • Sourcing of data from approved public sources using the methods outlined in policies and procedures.
  • Construction of KYC packs utilizing the required information and documentation in accordance with client policies and procedures.
  • Troubleshooting and complex query / issue resolution raised by internal stakeholders, clients, and offshore teams.
  • Ensuring that key stakeholders are kept informed on progress or bottlenecks within the end-to-end KYC review process.
  • Escalation to the appropriate teams where information cannot be sourced or provided.
  • Direct outreach to internal client departments where applicable (such as Front Office) to obtain information and documentation required to complete KYC/CDD reviews.
  • Conducting screening checks using third-party tools to identify Sanctions, PEPs, and Adverse Media in relation to the entities and related parties subject to screening policies and procedures.


Job requirements

Qualification and Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members and other departments
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced targeted environment against deadlines and SLAs
  • Ability to communicate in a clear, concise, and digestible manner both verbally and in written form
  • Familiarity with US AML/KYC regulations and industry guidelines
  • Familiarity with the end-to-end process for client onboarding and periodic reviews
  • Experience in handling, managing, and understanding large amounts of complex data


Desired Skills:

  • Experience in using Fenergo
  • Previous experience in KYC/AML due diligence roles within financial services
  • Domain knowledge of AML Typologies/Red Flags
  • Knowledge of due diligence requirements on a broad range of entity types


Expectations Regarding Hybrid Working:

As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy on physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly, this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita requires. We require candidates to be flexible to meet our clients’ demands.


Salary Range: $60,000 - $72,000
