Role:  Senior Analyst, Confirmation (FX and Precious Metals Options)

Location: Kuala Lumpur (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Permanent


Role Overview:

This position lies within the FX and Precious Metals Options Confirmation Team Operations. The role would be to perform Inbound processing such as Affirmation & Chasing, Indexing & Matching and process all other ad-hoc tasks in Confirmations across the FX and Precious Metals Option, focusing and ensuring the timely confirmation retrieval within the HKMA, EMIR, DFA, and other regulatory requirements.

Individual needs to have eye for detail, drive, passion for such work, and be a self-starter. Excellent spoken and written English is critical for success in this role. Meeting customer service delivery within agreed operating guidelines and the respective currency payment cut-off time and due diligence requirements are also a core  aspect of this role.

Core Responsibilities:

  • To continuously provide high quality processing service to achive maximum customer satisfaction within the specified PLA's.

  • Responsible for relationship building and resolving customer inquiries in a professional manner (where applicable). Other responsibilities dependent on process assigned to.

  • Supporting the team performance within the department supporting all product lines and initiatives.

  • Supporting the daily operations ensuring that customers receive quality service through all channels of customer contact.

  • Ensure achievement of Service Level Agreement ( SLA ) targets by self, prevent and mitigate operational losses and utilize budget and resources within establised requirements.

  • Assistant Manager together with the AVP conceptualizes, develops, and implements process management and improvement initiatives to sustain acceptable degree of required performance and achieve business thrusts.

Job requirements

Job requirements:

  • A degree in accounting/finance/management/Business Administration. Higher qualification not a bar provided aspirations commensurate with the position.  

  • Experience in FX and Precious Metals Options and Interest Rates Derivatives is a must.

  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in Derivative Ops/Market Ops. Experience in Drafting Confirmations process would be an added advantage

  • Proficiency in spoken and written English, including the ability to draft business letters and reports

  • Strong communication and telephone skills; able to build rapport with a wide range of people

  • Quick learner with the ability to transfer knowledge effectively

  • Proficient in MS Office; strong numerical and analytical skills

  • Good planning, organizing, and multitasking abilities

  • Capable of working accurately with large volumes of data while maintaining focus

  • Flexible to work shifts and adapt to changes; proactive in driving improvements

  • Able to perform under pressure and meet tight timelines

Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the clients' offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our clients' policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
