Job description
This is a great opportunity to join Delta Capita’s fast-growing Post Trade Services (PTS) Business working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions.
Streamlined and resilient post-trade processing reduces overheads for firms and should enable financial services to be more efficient, improve client service, and operate at a lower cost base. It also improves market participants’ ability to manage their risks effectively, which ultimately makes financial services more resilient. Delta Capita helps clients in facing new post-trade regulatory requirements, such as trade and transaction reporting, by offering solutions tailored to specific outcomes.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Coordinate financial audits with external auditors and support internal audits and regulatory reviews
- Review, prepare and present fund accounting and financial statements and management reports to in board and committee meetings
- Review and ensure compliance in accounting, valuations, taxation and other relevant policies and procedures including FATCA, CRS, etc.
- Oversee end-to end process of each transaction to ensure timely settlements, manage cash reconciliation, proper accounting treatment and overall management
- Manage service providers including fund administrators, corporate secretary, etc. to ensure smooth operational and financial
- Implement changes and/or controls to improve efficiency in work processes and mitigate operational risks
- Respond to KYC/AML enquires from counterparties
- Support new business initiatives including fund launches
- Support in ad hoc projects as required
Job requirements
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Accountancy, Business or Finance or related fields
- Chartered Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst preferable but not mandatory
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in financial industry with buyside or audit firm
- Strong working knowledge of private equity, fund of funds, alternatives, and/or real estate operation
- Must have experience in fund audit. Background in investment execution, onboarding, legal documents review, fund launches, fund liquidations, negotiation and reviewing of engagement letters/contracts with external service providers
- Experience with relevant systems such as Investran, Aladdin is preferred
