Associate - Developer Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Developer Engineer to join our team in Pune. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, automating deployment processes, improving the overall efficiency and reliability of our cloud-based systems, and ensuring high availability of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Backend (Business Logic Layer)

- Spring Boot – The backbone of Java-based microservices.

- Spring Security – Essential for authentication and authorization.

- GraphQL / REST APIs – Efficient data fetching and communication.

- Java unit Testing Framework

- Junit, Mockito, TestNG, Serenity etc

Security & Authentication
- OAuth2 & JWT – Secure authentication and authorization.
- Spring Security – Comprehensive security framework for microservices.
- Keycloak – Identity and access management solution.

Security & Compliance
- SAML / OAuth – Secure authentication mechanisms.
- SSL/TLS Encryption – Ensuring secure data transmission.
- SIEM Tools (Splunk, ELK) – Security monitoring and logging.

Database & Storage
- PostgreSQL / Oracle – Preferred relational databases in banking.
- MongoDB – NoSQL database for handling unstructured data.
- Redis – Caching layer for performance optimization.

- Version Control Systems (VCS) 
- Git
- Apache Subversion (SVN)
 
Agile frameworks include:
- Scrum (Sprint-based development)
- Kanban (Continuous workflow management)
- Extreme Programming (XP) (Frequent releases with automated testing)

- Banking-Specific Technologies
- Kafka / RabbitMQ – Event-driven architecture for real-time transactions.
- IBM MQ – Legacy messaging system still used in banking.

Good to have Cloud & DevOps
- AWS / Azure – Cloud platforms for hosting and scaling applications.
- Docker & Kubernetes – Containerization and orchestration for microservices.
- Terraform / Ansible – Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automation. 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

At least 5 years of day-to-day experience in on-prem and cloud infrastructure, DevOps.

Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Ansible, Jenkins, DevOps tools

Experience with automation tools, bash scripting

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
