Equity Swaps Middle Office Associate/AVP

Location: New York

Permanent / Full-Time

Salary Range:

Associate - $70,000 - $85,000

AVP - $90,000 - $115,000



We have an exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious clients at an Investment Bank as part of our Post Trade Services Team. You will be working as part of a fast-paced Middle Office team primarily supporting our client’s Equity Swap business.


Key Responsibilities/Role Requirements:

  • Collaborate with diverse teams, including Technology, Product Control, Business Management, Market Risks, and Settlements, to drive process improvements, system upgrades, and product modifications.
  • Work closely with multiple teams across Trading and Finance to resolve issues impacting profit and loss (PnL).
  • Support traders with ad hoc queries around bookings, PnL, or risk representation.
  • Ensure all trade economics are captured and accurately reflected within systems, liaising with traders and counterparties.
  • Accurately captures trades as needed.
  • Investigate and resolve issues causing breaks or failures.
  • Monitor and maintain controls designed to mitigate risk.
  • Utilize strong communication skills.
  • Escalate risk issues to team leads.

Job requirements

  • 3-6 years of previous experience in Equity Swaps
  • Strong knowledge of the trade lifecycle and Derivatives
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Attention to detail


Expectations Regarding Hybrid Working:

As a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy on physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices, depending on the client) aligns with our client’s policies and expectations, which vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly, this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita requires. However, some of our clients have moved up to 4 or even 5 days in the office, and we require candidates to be flexible to meet our clients’ demands.


Salary Range:

Associate - $70,000 - $85,000

AVP - 
$90,000 - $115,000
