Role Summary

The role is accountable for all settlement activity for all derivatives globally, managing RTB, enabling CTB success and expansion and new growth opportunities, product development and time to market.

Lead the equity derivative confirmation teams and ensure engagement across the Global Markets businesses including active management of trading, sales, treasury and front to back functions including Compliance and Finance.

Drive a seamless relationship with the Business to support both existing and new business activities, as well as delivery of excellent internal and external client services. The role is also required to own, implement and maintain Global Standards, Risk Control procedures, Operations Risk Controls Framework.

Ensuring the function is alert and aligned to the business strategy including growth plans, regulatory landscape and front office supervisory requirements across the multiple product and multiple country landscape. Building and maintain strong global relationships and collaborating with teams across regions, functions and business lines to deliver client service excellence.

He/she will Influence key decisions and effectively establish the necessary infrastructure to support the long-term business goals. Will drive active management to balance between tactical and strategic deliveries, lobbying and the positioning of priorities within the budget and decision making processes globally.

Role and Responsibilities:

Execution of post trade controls for Equity Derivatives Confirmations.

Engagement, governance and management of change portfolio, status reporting

Leadership and development of team and directs to deliver change and define strategy for the team.

Develop key relationships with other support functions in DC.

Ensure best practice is achieved.

Coordinating Language Negotiations with Legal/Desk and Clients.

Drive Master Confirmation Agreement.

Help business to achieve sustainable growth through continuous Streamlining and Process Improvements.

Risk management

Capture of the global portfolio and it’s impacts

Accurate and Timely reporting of status across the portfolio and timely prioritization of change initiatives.

Ensure KRI’s and MIS is delivered on time.

Job requirements

Experience and Qualifications:

More than 10 years of experience with a track record of experience in global Capital Markets domain.

Minimum 4-5 years senior global management experience in a market operations or markets facing role.

Strong interpersonal skills and excellent client service skills.

Hands on knowledge of OTC derivative products, lifecycle, valuations, regulations and market construct.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Goal orientated individual capable of managing significant teams/budgets, delivering to quality, time and scope targets under pressure.

Strong exposure and experience in managing cross cultural teams.

Knowledge of Clearing House systems and market infrastructure.
