Job description

Delta Capita is looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to undertake a Delivery Lead role within one of our closest, Tier 1 Investment Bank client, principally to support the delivery of a Digital Acceleration Programme.

The role is responsible for supporting the Finance and Cross-Functions within the organisation through the Transformation activities, including implementation of Value Streams, Agile ways of working and the definition of the Future State Architecture roadmap across 2000+ staff, supporting 400+ applications which run on multiple technology platforms.

The role holder is required to have domain expertise in Agile ways of working and Workforce Transformation.

Candidates must be self-motivated and willing to learn in their own time, it is expected that they will also be required to:

·       Understand and translate programme objectives into executable work packages

·       Be ambitions about achieving the highest standards of delivery and transformation

·       Authentically engage with Teams, colleagues and business partners to deliver at pace

·       Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to promote a unified approach to Value Stream and Agile ways of working

·       Demonstrate strong communications skills, influencing and negotiation

·       Have experience of working with teams and contacts in a global setting

·       Have a proven track record in technology leadership, delivering complex, cross-region, cross-function global initiatives

·       Understand and motivate Engineering teams

·       Monitor key control indicators (KCIs) to track the effectiveness of transformation

·       Have significant, practical experience of implementing Agile ways of working

Job requirements

  •  Track record of delivering sustainable outcomes in an enterprise scale organisation.

  • Experience in technology workforce transformation, with a track record of successfully implementing agile ways of working.

  • Proven ability to effectively communicate technical delivery concepts to diverse audiences, including senior leadership and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate and assess complex technology landscapes preferred

  • Excellent project management skills with a track record of successfully leading large-scale initiatives preferred

Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our client’s now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
