Role Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst to join a strategic programme focused on OTC derivatives within a leading financial institution. The role sits within a regulatory change initiative and involves close collaboration with front-to-back stakeholders across trading, operations, risk, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and document business requirements related to OTC derivatives processes and regulatory obligations.

  • Work with stakeholders across trading, middle office, and compliance to ensure alignment on deliverables.

  • Analyse and map current vs. target state workflows, identifying gaps and proposing solutions.

  • Support testing and implementation of changes, including UAT coordination and defect management.

  • Produce high-quality documentation including BRDs, process flows, and stakeholder communications.

  • Ensure traceability of requirements and support project governance and reporting.

Job requirements

  • Strong understanding of OTC derivatives and securities financing transactions (e.g., rates, credit, FX, repos, stock lending) and associated lifecycle events.

  • Proven experience working on regulatory change programmes (e.g. EMIR, MiFID II, UMR, STFR).

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage front office, operations, and technology teams.

  • Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques (e.g., process modelling, gap analysis).

  • Experience in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
