Business Analyst – Payments and Securities Messaging

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our fast-growing Consulting Business working with some of the world's leading financial institutions.

As a Business Analyst, the successful candidate will work directly with our Tier 1 clients to ensure they receive the quality consulting services that Delta Capita offers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial services, exceptional problem-solving skills, business analysis and project management experience specifically within financial service messaging Additionally, they will have the ability to manage, motivate and inspire others, with a proven track record of delivering successful client engagements. They will have deep change management experience and prior success as a management consultant or within a change role in a financial services institution. They will have extensive experience with SWIFT messaging formats across various products and a good understanding of ISO 20022.

Key Responsibilities

• Work alongside our client to support their payments and securities messaging uplift efforts
• Conduct analysis of current and future state and collaborate with various delivery teams to design strategic solutions for delivery of a cross-product platform for SWIFT message processing
• Ensure that proposed solutions align with the organization’s strategic goals and technological capabilities
• Ensure all agreed outputs and decisions are suitably well documented in the agreed tools, throughout the requirements lifecycle, from initial capture through various stages of refinement and through to testing and implementation

Required Experience & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Extensive experience with SWIFT and other payments formats across various products and understanding of ISO 20022 Payments and Securities messaging
• Demonstrable experience around messaging implementations
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with business stakeholders and gain their trust in order to guide them

Expectations Regarding Hybrid Working:

As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy on physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are, and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly, this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita requires. However, some of our clients have now moved up to 4 or even 5 days in the office and we require candidates to be flexible to meet our clients’ demands. For this role, the client typically requires 4-5 days in the office.

Salary Range: $75,000-$95,000
