Job description
Role Purpose:
The role sits within the Global Treasury, Liquidity team. The purpose of this role is to support the Liquidity team, by working with the business and other stakeholders to build the global securities collateral capabilities.
Being a driving force in Group Treasury’s collateral workstream.
Facilitate discussions and work closely with business lines, regional liquidity teams, Markets Treasury teams.
Provide expert recommendations on collateral management and liquidity measures.
Be able to work independently and ensure there is alignment on the delivery of key initiatives
Working closely with regional Markets Treasury teams to set and monitor limits as part of the Collateral Framework
Work with technology teams to implement more automated solutions
Support ongoing capability testing across all in-scope entities. Coordinate UAT activities, including release and defect management. Escalation of issues in a timely manner.
Perform data analysis to and validate new approaches/methodologies.
Ability to query big data, perform data transformation and data analysis on large datasets
Ability to visualise big data sets using platforms such as tableau, Qlik or other similar tools.
Maintain expert knowledge of regulatory activities, stakeholder requirements and market trends.
Job requirements
Skills/Experience:
Strong knowledge of Collateral Management within the context of liquidity and funding with 5+ years of experience.
Understanding appropriate areas of key liquidity measures as per the Group.
Ability to work independently, manage offshore resources and influence key stakeholders to ensure there is alignment on the delivery of key initiatives
Self-starter, capable of working independently.
Develop relationships with stakeholders and provide subject matter expertise and analysis to support decision making.
Interpersonal and communication skills.
Candidates with proficiency in Python for data manipulation and data analysis is preferred.
Experience with tableau desktop/tableau server
Understanding of tableau
