$120,000-$150,000 + Commission



We are looking for an experienced Business Development and Sales Manager to lead our US sales team build our business for our Structured Products, Derivatives and Post Trade business. You will work directly with clients, prospects and business stakeholders and will be responsible for delivering our regional sales strategy. This dynamic role involves selling Technology solutions, Managed Services and Resource Augmentation to Investment Banking organisations.


This is an exciting role as we expand our capabilities globally. The preferred candidate will demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit with a focused approach as we develop this fast-growing part of our business.


This position is based in New York and will be key to our regional growth. We operate a hybrid working policy, but with the nature of the role there will be an expectation to be based in our Manhattan office with the ability to meet clients on a regular basis.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, manage, and close new business opportunities within US accounts for our Structured Products, Derivatives and Post Trade business
  • Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels
  • Main point of contact for existing clients, responsible for managing existing client relationships and driving renewal opportunities
  • To understand each customer’s business objectives, challenges, and issues and how we present Delta Capita's (DC) outcome-based solutions to meet these objectives
  • Document and manage dynamic account plans, encapsulating business requirements including white space and clear competitive replacement strategies
  • Internal stakeholder management ensuring effective communication and coordination across the organisation, with all levels of seniority
  • Work with the head of sales to develop a business plan and go to market/demand management initiatives leveraging DC’s organization develop core revenues and penetration across the account base
  • Develop a 12-to-24-month pipeline of qualified incremental business opportunities

Job requirements

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in sales and managing client relationships
  • Experience of working in or with financial institutions with a focus on structured products or derivatives middle office/operations
  • Experience working for, or closely with, service providers to Financial Services customers
  • Knowledge and experience of the sales lifecycle, including RFPs, contracts, proposals and pricing
  • Knowledge of key sales disciplines- Salesforce, MEDDIC, unsolicited proposals, partner leverage Deal sheets etc
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, lengthy and complex sales cycles
  • Proven ability to manage net new business as well as develop existing business opportunities
  • Have an interest, market opinion and existing understanding of the financial industry sector, including market dynamics and competitive landscape
