Role Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results driven Sales and Business Development lead to join our team in Dublin. This senior role will focus on driving business growth, generating new revenue opportunities and managing client relationships across Ireland.  

Delta Capita Ireland is a fast-growing strategic location for the global business and the ideal candidate will work with Regional and Global Leadership to drive further growth for the business across our key Services including Client Lifecyle Management (Resource Augmentation, Managed Services and Technology Solutions) and Consulting (Transformation & Change). This is an exciting role as we continue to expand our capabilities globally.

We operate under a hybrid work policy, but with the nature of the role, there will be an expectation to be based in our Dublin office with the ability to meet clients on a regular basis.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed agreed KPIs

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives, decision makers and other key stakeholders across financial services

  • Understand client’s business objectives, challenges, and issues and how we present Delta Capita’s outcome-based solutions to meet these objectives.

  • Internal stakeholder management, ensuring effective communication and coordination across the organisation, with all levels of seniority.

  • Leverage expertise in Client Lifecycle Management/ Consulting to understand and address client needs

  • Act as the main point of contact for existing clients, responsible for managing existing client relationships and driving renewal opportunities.

  • Develop a 12-to-24-month pipeline of qualified incremental business opportunities

  • Work with the wider Sales management team to develop a business plan and go-to-market/demand management initiatives leveraging DC’s organisation to develop core revenues and penetration across the account base.

  • Collaborate with Regional Lead and Global Sales Lead

  • Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing regular updates to Regional Lead and Global Sales Lead

 

Required Experience:

  • Extensive experience in sales and managing client relationships in financial services

  • Deep SME knowledge of Client Lifecycle Management – including Regulation, Policy, Technology

  • Knowledge and experience of the sales lifecycle, including RFPs, contracts, proposals, and commercial frameworks.

  • Proven ability to manage net new business as well as develop existing business opportunities.

  • Proven ability to gain new logos and strong new business development background.

  • Extensive network within the Financial Services Industry in Ireland, with deep connections with decision makers

  • Knowledge of key sales disciplines – Salesforce, MEDDIC, unsolicited proposals, partner leverage, deal sheets, etc.

  • Experience in working within or with Professional Services firms is desirable

 

Required Skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • SME level KYC experience, working in or with financial services institutions

  • Experience in Transformation and Change within Financial Services

  • Commercially driven experience and demonstrable results

  • Self-managed – energetic, flexible, and capable of operating remotely

  • Responsive to customers business needs and clear focus on maintaining excellent customer service

  • Accurate reporting skills, presentation skills, and attention to detail
