Role Overview:

This role involves analyzing and improving Customer Due Diligence processes to ensure regulatory compliance and operational efficiency. The analyst will map current workflows, identify inefficiencies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement enhancements, including automation and digitization. Key responsibilities include documenting requirements, monitoring changes, and supporting training and change management efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct detailed analysis of Customer Due Diligence processes to ensure regulatory compliance and operational effectiveness.

  2. Map existing business processes using industry-standard tools.

  3. dentify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to streamline workflows and enhance customer experience.

  4. Collaborate with stakeholders across Compliance, Operations, Technology, and Risk to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.

  5. Support the design and implementation of process improvement initiatives, including automation and digitisation efforts.

  6. Document business requirements, functional specifications, and process changes.

  7. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of implemented changes.

  8. Assist in the development of training materials and support change management activities.

Job requirements

Required Skills & Experience:

  1. Proven experience as a Business Analyst in financial services or a regulated environment.

  2. Strong understanding of Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Know Your Customer (KYC), and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) processes.

  3. Demonstrated experience in process mapping and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).

  4. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

  5. Proficiency in process mapping tools and Microsoft Office Suite.

  6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  7. Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.

This is a fixed term contract bases in Belfast with hybrid working. As the selection and interview process is ongoing, please submit your application in English as soon as possible, if your profile is selected, a member of our team will contact you within 4 weeks. For this role a valid working permit for the Ireland is mandatory. 

Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our client’s now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require. However, some of our clients have now moved up to 4 days and even 5 days in the office and we require candidates to be flexible to meet our client demands.
