We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated CDO Deal Administrator with 3-5 years of experience in structured finance or loan administration to work directly supporting one of our clients. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing and administering Collateralized Debt Obligations (CDOs), ensuring compliance with transaction documents, and facilitating efficient communication with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:  

  • Monitor and manage the lifecycle of CDO transactions, including asset reconciliation, reporting, and cash flow administration.

  • Settle bond/bank loan trades & invest excess cash, as directed by Portfolio Manager.

  • Review and interpret transaction documents to ensure compliance with legal and operational standards.

  • Prepare and deliver investor reports, payment calculations, and waterfall distributions in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Coordinate with trustees, custodians, rating agencies, and portfolio managers to address transaction-related inquiries or issues.

  • Maintain accurate records of asset-level activity, collateral performance, and deal-specific information.

  • Track asset attributes including accrual information, rating, and industry codes.

  • Conduct regular reconciliations of accounts to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

  • Assist in onboarding new transactions and ensure a smooth transition for all stakeholders.

  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or errors in data and calculations.

  • Stay updated on market trends, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices to enhance operational efficiency.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field

  • 3-5 years of experience in structured finance, loan administration or similar role

  • Familiarity with CDOs, CLOs (Collateralized Loan Obligations), or other securitized products

  • Strong understanding of financial instruments, cash flow modeling, and transaction structures

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

  • Working knowledge of or experience with Wallstreet Office, SWP, Solvas, or CDO Suite preferred

  • Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders

Expectations Regarding Hybrid Working:

As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy on physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly, this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita requires. However, some of our clients have now moved up to 4 or even 5 days in the office and we require candidates to be flexible to meet our clients’ demands. 

Salary Range: $75,000-$120,000 (dependent on experience)
