You will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of the company, ensuring that all operations and business are compliant with relevant laws and regulations, and providing strategic legal guidance to support the company's rapid growth. You will oversee and coordinate legal-related activities and other efforts in connection with Prytek Global’s operations and investment business, including managing relationships with and overseeing work performed by Prytek’s internal legal team and external legal counsel, providing input and consultation on proposed and existing operations and management strategies, and ensuring that Prytek’s operational and investment business complies with legal and regulatory requirements as well as Prytek’s internal quality and risk management standards.


This position demands exceptional leadership and the ability to handle high-pressure situations, making critical decisions that safeguard the company's interests. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's legal framework, ensuring robust legal processes, and fostering a culture of compliance across the entire organisation.


This position will assist in establishing and implementing best practices, processes, and policies within the legal and regulatory area to support Prytek’s global investment management strategy.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of the operational and investment legal global business covering Prytek’s operational assets, with a focus on finance industry.
  • Day to day legal contact for the Prytek global operational and investment business and Investment partners, becoming a “go to” trusted advisor and ensuring risks are appropriately managed in the context of business objectives.
  • Refine existing and build new processes within the operations and investment business to ensure the efficient and effective review of contracts and appropriate outsourcing to external legal counsel.
  • Be the main point of contact for the external legal counsel, including establishing and maintaining the relationship, agreeing the scope of engagement, leading on outsourcing decision making, monitoring service levels, track and report legal spend and billing arrangements.
  • Take steps and implement processes to ensure legal advice is applied uniformly and consistently across the global operational and investment business.
  • Working with external legal counsel and other advisers as appropriate, ensure key precedent contracts are regularly reviewed and remain robust.
  • Create and implement processes, tools, systems, and methods for tracking, managing, and reporting progress on the completion and delivery of legal transactions/documents and provide Prytek’s key business leaders with progress reports and updates as needed.
  • Stay abreast of emerging issues and market practices in the private equity financial industry, provide updates to Prytek’s key business leaders, and recommend, develop and implement policies, practices, and other strategies to ensure compliance and mitigate or reduce risk.
  • IPO – support the group with the upcoming IPO activities.
  • Work with the compliance team and assistant company secretary, monitoring and implementing any compliance changes required in the global investment and operations business.
  • Assist, as needed, in the coverage of Prytek’s private equity, growth equity and venture capital investments.
  • Act as lead transaction counsel on deals, managing transaction execution and reviewing / negotiating a full range of deal documentation.
  • Manage external deal counsel, in conjunction with the investment team, and work closely with portfolio managers and internal Prytek teams during the execution of transactions;


Essential Skills:

  • A fully qualified lawyer in the UK with extensive experience.
  • Experience in working in a US multi-national company business environment.
  • Experience in supporting multiple jurisdictions.
  • Be able to draft agreements and manage a small internal team while coordinating with a large legal network and keeping an eye on the budget.
  • Extensive experience in corporate law and managing investments.
  • Must have vast experience in M&A and debt negotiations in the UK and US. 
  • Additional experience in private equity and venture/growth equity, including knowledge of market terms.
  • Ability to oversee and effectively manage outside counsel and internal stakeholders.
  • Solid organisational skills and the ability to work with others and manage multiple time-sensitive matters in a demanding, fast-paced and fluid environment.
  • Experience in strategic transactions and corporate deal-making.
  • Experience with compliance and sanctions is a must.
  • Significant deal-making experience.
  • Ability to work in a highly complex organisation and manage large briefs.
  • An innovative and creative thinker with a proactive approach.
  • Results-oriented thinker and a team player.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English, including a clear and concise drafting style.


Desirable Skills:

  • Experience related to Israel is an advantage.
  • Experience in employment litigation
