We are looking for a Client Onboarding Specialist to join our Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) team initially to support one of our clients on a particular project. You will be part of our UK CLM Business Line and be expected to be on client site during the project. You will be working with one of our Investment Banking clients based in Glasgow.


This is a great opportunity to join our fast-growing business within our CLM department working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions. The preferred candidate will be a recent graduate and have some relevant experience within financial services (can include through internships) supported by great attention to detail, organisational and communication skills, and an ability to work in high pressured environments and to tight deadlines.

Job requirements

Job Requirements: 

  • Oversee the onboarding process and perform KYC due diligence in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, especially during deal closures.
  • Conduct end-to-end KYC due diligence for new clients within the Investment Banking Division.
  • Construction of KYC files with the required information and documentation in accordance with the policy.
  • Conduct screening for Peps, Adverse Media and Sanctions.
  • Ensure compliance with KYC/AML regulations, as well as broader regulations such as MiFID and FATCA.
  • Tailor KYC and regulatory requirements based on the client’s entity and the location of the Sales person.
  • Handle various corporate entity types and adhere to AML and broader regulations for locations including the UK, Germany, Italy, Amsterdam, Warsaw, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Dubai.
  • Established as go-to person for complex files, entity types, ownership structures etc. 
  • Ensuring that key stakeholders are kept informed on progress or bottlenecks within the end-to-end KYC review process.
  • Collaborate and co-ordinate with teams in London, Glasgow, Bangalore, and sales personnel across different locations.
  • Proactively identify issues or blockers to KYC/Onboarding completion and assist with the implementation of process efficiencies and solutions.

Essential Skills/Experience

  • Experience in Client Onboarding/New to Bank roles in a global markets investment banking environment.
  • Experience working with Front Office Sales personnel.
  • Experience in AML/KYC due diligence roles.
  • Good working knowledge of UK and EU AML/KYC regulations and industry guidelines.
  • Good knowledge of the end-to-end KYC and client on-boarding processes.
  • Knowledge of MiFID, FATCA,CRS and broader regulatory requirements required for onboarding new clients.
  • Experience in performing due diligence on a broad range of corporate entity types from global jurisdictions.
  • Experience conducting Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) reviews on high-risk entity types.
  • Ability to process and understand large amounts of complex information.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Fast learner with proactive approach and sense of urgency.
  • Ability to multitask, manage, prioritise and be accountable for own workload.
  • Adaptable and capable of being flexible.
  • Excellent professional communication skills, both verbal and in written form.

This is a fixed term contract position located in Glasgow.


Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our client’s now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require. We require candidates to be flexible to meet our client demands and that may require up to 5 days in the office. For this initial project, our client requires 3 days in the office.
