Job description

Role Summary

The successful candidate would serve on the Product team within Multi Asset Solutions (MAS) working primarily with North American institutional defined benefit and defined contribution pension clients. The candidate would be responsible for many day-to-day responsibilities associated with managing existing client relationships and producing detailed analysis, attribution, and reporting to provide transparency into the impact of the team’s investment advice. This role is highly analytical and detail oriented.

The Role and Responsibilities

  • Execution and distribution of standard institutional client reports
  • High-accuracy and efficient sourcing of MV, performance and record-keeper data for reporting purposes
  • Preparation and review with Portfolio Managers and Consultants of custom client reports including calculating performance returns
  • Exposure to calculation of Private Equity performance including IRR calculations
  • Assist Portfolio Managers in preparation and execution of external manager search books, which are used by investment committees to select investments
  • Project management, prioritization, and ownership of client deliverables

Job requirements

Skills and Experience

  • Basic knowledge of, and passion for the asset management business, and capital markets
  • Strong quantitative skills, with a background in operations or accounting preferred
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow-through

Positive attitude and strong work ethic

  • Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build trust and confidence of colleagues, strengthen relationships through ongoing dialog and interactions, and collaborate well with others internally to meet client needs
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
  • Strong skills in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint and Word)
