Job description
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for client settlement inquiries, operational issues, and escalations, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional resolution.
Support the full transaction lifecycle across Commercial Paper, Equities, Fixed Income, and Swaps, maintaining smooth and controlled day-to-day processing.
Oversee trade capture, allocation workflows, and exception management for swap activity and associated hedge instruments.
Manage settlement activities for Total Return Swaps (TRS) and Repo trades, including trade confirmations, reconciliations, and ongoing coordination with brokers and custodians.
Perform detailed trade, position, and cash reconciliations across prime brokers, custodians, and fund administrators, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of corporate actions, validating all related bookings and downstream impacts.
Partner with Risk teams to address margin calls, exposure concerns, settlement fails, and contested items.
Support initial and variation margin processes, including daily margin balance validation and review of margin movements.
Execute internal control checks to ensure consistency between internal systems, external counterparties, and administrator records.
Collaborate closely with Program Compliance teams and fund administrators to support monthly reporting and oversight requirements.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows, strengthen controls, and increase automation.
Job requirements
Bachelor's Degree
5+ years relevant financial experience
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Expectations Regarding Hybrid Working:
As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy on physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly, this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita requires. However, some of our clients have now moved up to 4 or even 5 days in the office and we require candidates to be flexible to meet our clients’ demands.
Salary Range: $100,000-$125,000 (dependent on experience)
