Job description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team in Pune. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining cloud infrastructure, automating deployment processes, improving the overall efficiency and reliability of our cloud-based systems, and ensuring high availability of our services.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities:

 Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to streamline CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows. 

 Manage and enhance build, release, and deployment automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub, G3, AWS, Azure DevOps).

 Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

 Administer, configure and deployment using Microsoft IIS, hosting .NET applications, managing application pools, and ensuring application availability.

 Good troubleshooting skill for IIS hosted enterprise .NET and web application.

Manage Windows server environments, including patching, performance tuning and user access control (IAM).

 Monitor, maintain, and improve system reliability, performance, and security in cloud and on-prem environments.

 Support software releases across development, staging, and production environments.

 Contribute to scripting and development tasks (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash or Groovy) for automation and tooling.

 Assist in troubleshooting system and application issues in collaboration with application support and development teams.

 Ensure compliance with internal security and audit policies.

 Participate in on-call support rotation and incident response as needed.

 Create and manage dashboards in Grafana (or equivalent) for real-time infrastructure and application monitoring.

 Implement alerting, logging, and monitoring strategies across environments using tools like Prometheus, ELK stack, Grafana, etc.

 Design dashboards for access control visibility and operational reporting across DevOps environments.

 Develop automation scripts in Python, Shell, or Groovy to streamline operational tasks and support deployment frameworks.

 Work closely with developers, QA, and IT teams to support development pipelines and troubleshoot deployment or runtime issues.

 Ensure proper access controls, audit trails, and compliance requirements are met for all environments.

 Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution efforts for production issues.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

At least 3 years of day-to-day experience in on-prem and cloud infrastructure, DevOps.

Strong knowledge of cloud platforms such as Ansible, Jenkins, DevOps tools

Experience with automation tools, bash scripting

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.
