Fund Services Analyst/Associate

Role Summary

We are looking for individuals to join our Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) team to support our Tier 1 Investment Bank client in Dallas, Texas. This exciting role will provide support within their Private Operations Team.

The role entails collaborating with various operational groups to implement new businesses and products. The ideal candidate is highly-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. They should possess excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills, having the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Knowledge of fund products and regulatory environments, previous operations experience, and familiarity with accounting practices are highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with various teams to provide subject matter knowledge, ensuring smooth process and transaction flows.

  • Accurately process and capture all transactions in relevant systems

  • Assist with the completion of internal system setups for new transactions

  • Risk mitigation across various investment strategies

  • Exception management

  • Custody and cash confirmations

  • Invoice and tax payments

  • Facility interest calculations

  • Position creation

Job requirements

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent,

  • 1-4 years of relevant industry experience

  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members and other departments.

  • Excellent organizational skills and time management skills

  • Highly motivated individual and self-starter with a proven background of delivery

  • Risk Management focus

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced targeted environment against tight deadlines and SLAs

  • Excellent communication skills, both in verbal and written form

  • Ability to work with stakeholders across varying levels of seniority

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with fund products, including private markets, alternative investment funds and registered products.

  • Knowledge of regulatory environments

  • Prior Operations experience

  • Background in accounting (i.e. journal entries, reconciliations, and interest calculations)

  • Adaptability with other software products (outside of Microsoft Office)

 

Expectations Regarding Hybrid Working:

As a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client's offices or our own offices, depending on the client) aligns with our client's policies and expectations, and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly, this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita requires. For this initial role, the client requires the candidate to work from their office 5 days per week.

 

Salary Range:

$55,000-$85,000
