Job description

Delta Capita is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Global CDD Policy Lead to drive the development and implementation of a harmonised global Customer Due Diligence (CDD) policy framework. This role will be instrumental in aligning regional AML policies with the Ready-to-Trade (RTT) workstream and ensuring consistent governance across jurisdictions.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy Development & Harmonisation

    • Draft a new Global CDD Policy based on RTT-agreed documents.

    • Create country-specific addendums to address local regulatory requirements.

    • Review and align all regional and local AML policies with the new Global CDD framework.

    • Remove conflicting elements from existing policies to ensure consistency.

 

  • Stakeholder Engagement

    • Collaborate with Compliance personnel, MLROs, and Coverage Heads (CoB) to review proposed CDD and AML policy changes.

    • Escalate any deviations from RTT-agreed group processes throughout the policy development lifecycle.

 

  • Governance & Documentation

    • Define governance protocols for policy maintenance, including exception handling and escalation procedures.

    • Ensure all AML policies reference applicable global policies and procedures.

  • Reporting & Approval

    • Provide monthly progress updates to the Ready-to-Trade SteerCo.

    • Finalise CDD and AML policies for senior management and Board approval, targeting conclusion in Q1 2026 governance round.

 

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Proven experience in global AML/CDD policy development within financial services.

  • Strong understanding of international regulatory frameworks and country-specific AML requirements.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Ability to manage complex policy alignment projects across multiple jurisdictions.

  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional certifications in AML (e.g., CAMS, ICA) or compliance.

  • Experience working in a global financial institution or consultancy with a focus on financial crime.

This is a 3 Month FTC / Contract opportunity located in London. Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the clients' offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our clients' policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
