Role: Global Support Executive – FX and Precious Metals Confirmation

Location: Kuala Lumpur (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Permanent


Role Overview:

This role sits within the FX and Precious Metals Options Confirmation Team in MSS Operations. The Global Support Executive role who will be part of highly motivated of individuals whose function is to process all Incoming Confirmations tasks across the FX and Precious Metals Options business, focusing and ensuring the timely confirmation retrieval to meet all the necessary regulatory requirements.

Inbound confirmation process refers to Indexing, Matching, Affirmation and Chasing.

The Global Support Executive will need to ensure Group standards are always adhered to and Best Practice Guidelines are followed wherever possible to ensure our Regulatory targets.


Core Responsibilities:

  • To manage the daily Operation / BAU of the team whose responsibilities are to ensure the accurate and timely execution of the Cross-Asset Confirmation process.
  • Validate and Dispatch confirmation in line with regulatory timelines.
  • Adherence to all internal policies, utilising departmental operating instructions to adhere to all required regulatory requirements.
  • To ensure timely dispatch of Confirmation as per departmental operating instructions.
  • Strict adherence to Confirmation matching as per departmental operating instructions.
  • Mitigation of operational breaches & minimise operational losses.

Job requirements

Knowledge

  • Prior Knowledge and experience of working within FX and Precious Metals Options operations is preferred.
  • A degree in accounting/finance/management/business administration. Higher qualification not a barrier provided experience is aligned with the position.


Experience

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in Derivative Ops. Experience in Confirmations processes would be an added advantage.

Skills

  • Ability to speak and understand English fluently.
  • Ability to write business letters and reports.
  • Good conversational/telephone skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and transfer knowledge appropriately.
  • Possess knowledge on MS Office with good numerical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with and relate to and effectively develop a team ethic.
  • Ability to maintain focus while working within a dynamic, high-volume environment
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Good Communication, planning and organising skills.
  • Able to work under challenging environment with tight timelines.

This is a permanent, full-time position located in Kuala Lumpur. Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the clients' offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our clients' policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
