Role Overview:
We’re looking for a Graduate AI Engineer to join our team and help our client build innovative AI solutions that transform client onboarding and KYC processes. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies, including generative AI, machine learning, and data processing, while learning from experienced engineers and architects. You’ll gain hands-on experience across a wide stack of services and contribute to delivering impactful products.
Role Responsibilities:
Assist in designing and developing scalable solutions using microservice architecture.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand requirements and implement changes.
Contribute to releasing code to production and learn the full software development lifecycle.
Support the development and troubleshooting of backend systems and AI/ML models.
Help deliver document data extraction and unstructured data processing capabilities.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and high-quality delivery.
Job requirements
Required Skills and Experience:
A degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and enthusiasm to learn more.
Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.
Interest in backend development and scalable software architecture.
Ability to work with REST APIs and understand integration principles.
Passion for continuous learning and staying ahead in the evolving AI landscape.

This is a full-time contract position located in Sheffield, England. Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our client’s now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
