HR Benefits Analyst

Northampton – Onsite 3 days 

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Benefits Analyst with hands-on operational HR experience to join our team. This role requires someone who has worked within an HR function and has direct experience managing pensions and employee benefits, particularly through Workday.

The individual will also have strong analytical skills and a passion for data. You’ll play a key role in supporting benefits operations, testing system changes, and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve queries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and manage employee benefits and pension schemes using Workday.

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.

  • Support benefits-related queries and provide guidance to employees and HR colleagues.

  • Collaborate with payroll and finance teams to ensure seamless benefits processing.

  • Assist in testing and validating Workday benefit configurations and updates (nice to have).

  • Monitor usage and effectiveness of Workday benefits modules and suggest improvements.

Job requirements

Required Experience

  • Proven experience working within an HR function

  • Strong understanding of UK pensions and employee benefits administration.

  • Experience using Workday for benefits administration.

  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues within Workday.

  • Testing experience in HR systems is a plus.

Desirable Skills

  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

This is a fixed term role based in Northampton. For this role a valid working permit for the UK is mandatory.

Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our client’s now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
