Junior Benefits Analyst
Northampton – Onsite 3 days
12 Month Fixed Term Contract
Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Benefits Analyst to join us immediately. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills, a passion for data, and a keen interest in employee benefits and systems like Workday. You’ll play a key role in supporting benefits operations, testing system changes, and collaborating with stakeholders to resolve queries.
Key Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day administration of benefits and pension processes.
Utilize Workday to manage employee data, benefits enrollments, and reporting.
Assist in testing system updates, documenting results, and reporting issues.
Provide operational support to the HR team, ensuring smooth process execution.
Analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve complex queries and interpret policy.
Communicate effectively across teams, both verbally and in writing.
Use Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.
Job requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
Experience or strong interest in benefits and/or pension administration.
Advanced user of Workday or similar HRIS platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex processes.
Familiarity with testing methodologies and reporting.
Excellent communication skills across all levels.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

This is a fixed term role based in Northampton. Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our client’s now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
