Senior Developer - Python

Location: Poland
Role Level: Management Consultant
Experience: 4+ years

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python-based risk solutions for financial clients, ensuring high performance and scalability.

• Work closely with BAs and SMEs to translate business requirements into efficient, production-ready Python applications.

• Build, optimise, and automate risk reporting, data processing, and analytics pipelines.

• Implement data transformations, aggregations, and validation processes using pandas, NumPy, and SQLAlchemy.

• Develop and integrate API-based solutions, supporting system interoperability and automation.

• Ensure high code quality through proper testing (e.g., pytest, unit tests) and documentation.

• Strong Python development experience (4+ years) in a financial or consulting environment.

• Hands-on experience in pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy, and data processing libraries.

• Experience in building and deploying Python applications for real-world business problems.

• Ability to handle large datasets efficiently and develop performant data models.

• Exposure to financial risk, data engineering, or quantitative analysis is beneficial.

• Business analysis (BA) skills are a plus but not mandatory.
