Location: Dublin / Leixlip, Co. Kildare (Hybrid)
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President level KYC Onboarding Analyst to join our growing team in Dublin. This role will be responsible for leading a small team of KYC Analysts while overseeing the end-to-end client onboarding process, ensuring delivery of high-quality outcomes aligned with regulatory, client, and operational requirements.
The successful candidate will bring 6+ years of experience, with a strong technical understanding of KYC/CDD frameworks, regulatory requirements, and onboarding best practices. They will demonstrate the ability to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team within a fast-paced, client-focused environment, while maintaining a strong focus on operational excellence, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
In addition to people leadership responsibilities, the AVP will act as a subject matter expert, drive process improvements, support the establishment and scaling of the KYC function, and partner closely with internal stakeholders to deliver an efficient and seamless onboarding experience. The role will also require a hands-on approach, with the ability to support case completion and backlog management when required to ensure service levels and client commitments are met.

Job requirements
Key Responsibilities
· Manage the end-to-end onboarding lifecycle from client outreach through to account activation
· Perform detailed KYC / CDD / EDD reviews in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements
· Analyse and document complex ownership and control structures, identifying UBOs and verifying source of wealth/funds where required
· Liaise directly with clients, front office, compliance, and other internal stakeholders to gather and validate required documentation
· Identify and escalate risk issues, discrepancies, and potential financial crime concerns
· Ensure all onboarding is completed within agreed SLAs and quality standards
· Maintain accurate and complete records within onboarding and case management systems
· Support process improvements and contribute to enhancing onboarding controls and efficiencies
· Lead, support, and develop a team of onboarding analysts, ensuring consistent performance and delivery against targets
· Conduct quality control reviews, monitor team output, and drive performance management to maintain high standards and continuous improvement
Essential:
· Proven experience in end-to-end client onboarding within financial services
· Strong working knowledge of KYC, CDD, EDD, and AML regulations
· Ability to independently manage multiple onboarding cases from initiation to completion
· Strong stakeholder management skills with experience interacting with front office and clients
· High attention to detail and strong analytical capability
Desirable:
· Understanding of global regulatory frameworks (e.g. FATF, EU AML directives)
· Experience onboarding customers in the EMEA Region.
· Relevant certifications (e.g. ACAMS, ICA)
· Experience with the client onboarding platform Fen X / Fenergo

This is an initial 6 Month fixed term contract. Expectations regarding hybrid working: As a Service Provider and Consulting firm, our working arrangements align with our clients' requirements. For this assignment, successful candidates will be required to work onsite at our client's office in Leixlip, Co. Kildare, a minimum of 2 days per week. Occasional attendance at Delta Capita's Dublin office may also be required, depending on business needs.
