Job description

The LLM Specialist builds AI components embedded within the workflow platform. Initial use cases include intelligent extraction of customer data from inbound communications and Copilot-style assistance integrated across the workflow journey.

This is a hands-on technical role requiring the design of prompt frameworks, model integrations, and evaluation mechanisms that ensure AI solutions are robust, reliable, and suitable for production within a regulated environment.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and build AI components (e.g. extraction, classification, summarisation, assist) embedded within iQcodex workflows

  • Select appropriate models and providers (e.g. Copilot, Azure OpenAI) per use case and own end-to-end integration

  • Engineer prompts, structured outputs, and grounding strategies suitable for a regulated financial services environment

  • Develop evaluation harnesses to assess accuracy, robustness, and acceptable failure modes

  • Partner with Process Automation Developers to seamlessly embed AI components into production workflows

  • Contribute to AI governance and risk frameworks, including data handling, auditability, and escalation to human review

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience integrating LLMs into production business workflows

  • Hands-on exposure to Copilot (Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio) or Azure OpenAI

  • Strong Python (or equivalent) for integration and evaluation layers

  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and API security within regulated environments

  • Pragmatic understanding of LLM limitations, with a disciplined approach to testing and evaluation

Desirable

  • Experience delivering solutions within financial services or other regulated industries

  • Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and structured output prompting techniques

  • Exposure to iQcodex or comparable low-code workflow platforms
