Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced LMA Loan Closing Specialist to join our Syndicated Loans team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in closing and funding syndicated loan transactions under LMA standards, with hands-on experience using Loan IQ. Familiarity with ClearPar is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end closing process for syndicated loans governed by LMA documentation.
Liaise with front office, legal, agency, and counterparties to ensure timely and accurate execution of loan closings.
Review and interpret credit agreements, fee letters, and ancillary documents to determine operational requirements.
Set up and maintain loan facilities, tranches, and borrower details in Loan IQ.
Coordinate funding instructions, interest rate settings, and payment schedules.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and market standards.
Reconcile and validate loan data across systems including ClearPar and Loan IQ.
Support post-closing activities including amendments, waivers, and restructurings.
Job requirements
Proficiency in Loan IQ is essential.
Working knowledge of ClearPar is a strong plus.
Familiarity with SWIFT messaging, payment platforms, and agency functions.
Strong understanding of loan lifecycle events and operational risk controls.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple transactions simultaneously.
