Role Type: Full-Time

We have an exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious clients at a Tier 1 Investment Bank. You will be working as part of a fast-paced Loan Servicing operations team, communicating with multiple teams internally and externally. We are looking for someone with commercial loans experience (bilateral and syndicated loans) and loan lifecycle knowledge.


Key responsibilities:

Trade processing & confirmation

  • Manage all closing loan trades from trade date to settlement. Supporting & managing loan lifecycle across the assigned portfolio, executing various syndicated loan transactions daily 

  • Prepare, post & review LSTA/LMA standard documents and other various loan documents including trade confirms, assignment agreements, funding memos to ensure documentation accurately reflects the instruction of the trade ticket

  • Processing payments relating to the assigned loan portfolio (e.g. interest payments and fees)

Settlement

  • Confirm trade details and fee calculations

  • Review LSTA/LMA standard documents and other various loan documents

  • Manage trade activity and settlements

Fail and risk management

  • Ability to identify and escalate issues to management, sales, traders, etc.

  • Efficient and timely management of daily control reports (KRI's) by reviewing & reconciling where applicable

  • Troubleshoot issues that arise from trade discrepancies and raise escalations to management and the trade desk to execute trades

  • Update and maintain trade status reports as required

Client service

  • Acting as direct point of contact for external contacts and ensuring timely to inquiries, resolving client issues, reconciling lender discrepancies, etc.

  • Daily coordination with internal and external clients 

  • Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders including agents, borrowers, counsel, counterparties, sales team, and trade desk.

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent

  • Commercial loans product knowledge

  • Understanding of syndicated loans lifecycle

  • Familiarity with loan documentation (LMA/ LSTA, credit agreements, funding memos etc)

  • 1-3 years relevant financial experience

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication skills

  • Advanced Excel skills

  • Attention to detail

Preferred Experience

  • Previous middle office/ operations experience

  • Previous loan servicing experience

  • Knowledge of par and distressed loans

Expectations Regarding Hybrid Working:

As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy on physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly, this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita requires. However, some of our clients have now moved up to 4 or even 5 days in the office and we require candidates to be flexible to meet our clients’ demands. 

Salary Range: $70,000 - $80,000
