Job description
We have an exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious clients at a Tier 1 Investment Bank. You will be working as part of a fast-paced Loan Servicing operations team, communicating with multiple teams internally and externally. We are looking for someone with commercial loans experience (bilateral and syndicated loans) and loan lifecycle knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
LMA Loan Closing experience is a must
Prior knowledge of Loans, Equities, Bonds and Derivatives preferred
Manage the settlement of secondary trades to ensure seamless and compliant LMA trade executions
Manually drafting, negotiating, reviewing and executing all transfer documentation for both loans and bonds with counterparties and agents.
Reviewing and drafting LMA documentation in adherence to LMA standards
Familiar with credit agreements
Consult with counterparties, agent banks, legal counsel and Trustees, to ensure smooth settlement of transactions.
Use ClearPar, WSO and other in-house systems for the settlement of all syndicated transactions
Support the closing of private asset closings including CLO’s and in-house fund transfers
Proactive and alert in identifying, resolving and escalating problems or delays during deal settlement process.
Review and support amendments to LMA and LSTA documentation.
Ensure all procedures and processes are up to date and ensure an effective control framework is in place
Job requirements
Candidate must be comfortable in a high pressure environment
Confident in their verbal and written communication, especially with senior audience
Strong problem solving and presentation skills
High attention to detail Innate curiosity and drive
Able to work well in a team environment - across teams and regions
Previous middle office/ operations experience
Previous loan servicing experience
