Job description

We are seeking an experienced Loan IQ Processor at the Associate to AVP level to support agency syndicated loan portfolios. This role requires hands-on expertise in agency deal setup, complex amendments, and end-to-end loan servicing for transactions where the firm acts as Administrative Agent. The position demands strong technical knowledge of Loan IQ, a solid understanding of credit agreements, and the ability to manage operational responsibilities with increasing independence and ownership.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Independently set up and maintain agency deals in Loan IQ, including:

  1. Borrower and lender structures

  2. Tranche and pricing configuration

  3. Fees, schedules, and workflow events

  • Process and manage complex amendments, waivers, refinancings, and restructurings in accordance with credit agreements

  • Support all loan lifecycle servicing activities, including:

  1. Deal closings and post-close set-up validation

  2. Ongoing interest accruals, repricing, and benchmark changes

  3. Drawdowns, rollovers, paydowns, and payoffs

  4. Principal, interest, and fee processing

  • Perform Administrative Agent–specific duties, including:

  1. Coordinating lender funding and distributions

  2. Processing and reconciling agency and administrative fees

  3. Ensuring accurate lender allocations and notices

  • Review loan documentation and translate terms accurately into Loan IQ setup and servicing events

  • Investigate, escalate, and resolve operational breaks and discrepancies efficiently

  • Partner with front office, legal, accounting, risk, and technology teams to support smooth deal execution and ongoing servicing

  • Support audits, control reviews, and regulatory or compliance requests

Job requirements

Required Qualifications

Strong, hands-on Loan IQ experience in an Administrative Agent environment

Proven experience setting up agency syndicated loan deals

Demonstrated ability to process complex amendments and deal modifications

Solid understanding of syndicated loan products, credit agreements, and agency responsibilities

Experience supporting end-to-end loan servicing

Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred / Level-Dependent Qualifications

Associate level:

2–3+ years of Loan IQ and syndicated loan servicing experience

Ability to independently process standard deals and amendments

AVP level:

4–8+ years of Loan IQ agency experience

Deep expertise handling highly complex deal structures and amendments

Experience leading day-to-day deal execution or acting as point-of-contact for stakeholders

Prior involvement in process improvement, controls, or audit interactions

Expectations Regarding Hybrid Working:

As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy on physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly, this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita requires. However, some of our clients have now moved up to 4 or even 5 days in the office and we require candidates to be flexible to meet our clients’ demands. 

Salary Range: (dependent on experience)

Associate level: $75,000 - $100,000

AVP level: $105,000 - $125,000
