Job description

As an FX Options Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day activities within the FX options space, ensuring trades are handled accurately and risks are well managed. The role requires a strong understanding of FX derivatives, market dynamics, and risk frameworks, along with the ability to lead a team and work closely with multiple stakeholders.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily FX options processes, ensuring trades are booked, validated, and settled accurately

  • Monitor and control risk exposure, escalating any issues in a timely manner

  • Ensure all activities are completed within defined SLAs and timelines, and continuously look to improve turnaround times

  • Act as a key point of contact for traders, sales, and internal stakeholders

  • Handle exceptions, breaks, and queries, ensuring efficient resolution

  • Drive process improvements and strengthen controls to reduce operational risk

  • Lead, coach, and develop team members, supporting their performance and growth

  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and provide updates on risks and issues

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, or a related field

  • Strong experience in FX options / FX derivatives (typically 4-6 years)

  • Proven people management experience, including leading teams, performance management, and coaching individuals

  • Solid understanding of pricing, market movements, and risk management concepts

  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines

  • Familiarity with control frameworks, regulatory requirements, and operational risk

  • Strong stakeholder management experience across front office and support teams

  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel (including Pivot Tables), MS Word, and PowerPoint
