Job description
As an FX Options Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day activities within the FX options space, ensuring trades are handled accurately and risks are well managed. The role requires a strong understanding of FX derivatives, market dynamics, and risk frameworks, along with the ability to lead a team and work closely with multiple stakeholders.
Job requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Manage daily FX options processes, ensuring trades are booked, validated, and settled accurately
Monitor and control risk exposure, escalating any issues in a timely manner
Ensure all activities are completed within defined SLAs and timelines, and continuously look to improve turnaround times
Act as a key point of contact for traders, sales, and internal stakeholders
Handle exceptions, breaks, and queries, ensuring efficient resolution
Drive process improvements and strengthen controls to reduce operational risk
Lead, coach, and develop team members, supporting their performance and growth
Maintain clear communication with stakeholders and provide updates on risks and issues
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, or a related field
Strong experience in FX options / FX derivatives (typically 4-6 years)
Proven people management experience, including leading teams, performance management, and coaching individuals
Solid understanding of pricing, market movements, and risk management concepts
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Familiarity with control frameworks, regulatory requirements, and operational risk
Strong stakeholder management experience across front office and support teams
Good working knowledge of MS Excel (including Pivot Tables), MS Word, and PowerPoint
