Director – Investment Banking Consulting

London 

12 months fixed term - Hybrid (3 days onsite)

 
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our fast-growing Consulting Business working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions. 
 
You will leverage data and analytics to diagnose, design, and support strategies that enhance organisational effectiveness. Collaborate with HR (especially HRBPs), business leaders, and colleagues to identify improvement areas across organisation design, governance, ways of working, talent (skills and DEI), leadership, and culture.

Key Accountabilities 

  • Diagnose: Clarify mission, vision, and strategy; identify and prioritise organisational health opportunities. 

  • Design: Develop change initiatives aligned to prioritised improvement areas. 

  • Deliver: Partner with HR and business leaders to implement initiatives, providing guidance and consultancy. 

  • Track & Monitor: Enable KPI tracking and effectiveness measurement through accurate data and self-serve tools. 

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement with HRBPs and business leaders. 

  • Facilitate training on organisation design and strategic workforce planning. 

 

Director Expectations 

  • Lead a business function or major projects, influencing policy and strategic decisions. 

  • Manage large teams or act as a technical expert for organisation-wide initiatives. 

  • Provide expert advice to senior management and committees. 

  • Oversee resourcing, budgeting, and policy creation for a significant sub-function. 

  • Ensure compliance with regulations and escalate breaches appropriately. 

  • Monitor external environment and influence on behalf of the client when required. 

  • Maintain deep knowledge of industry practices and market developments. 

  • Apply advanced analytical skills to solve complex problems and design solutions. 

  • Negotiate and influence senior stakeholders internally and externally. 

  • Act as principal contact point and spokesperson for the function.
