Location: Manhattan/Buffalo or Dallas
Role Type: Full Time

We have an exciting opportunity to work with one of our prestigious clients at a Tier 1 Investment Bank as part of our US Team within Post Trade Services and Consulting. You will be working alongside the client’s developers and engineers, as part of a fast-paced team to understand and document the business requirements for technology change and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities/Role Requirements:

  • Work with the business unit to understand and document business requirements for technology change and enhancements

  • Develop technical specifications and work with developers/engineers to develop solutions for the business requirements

  • Competence in Agile project disciplines, to deliver benefits iteratively and at pace

  • Ensure, from a data perspective, a good understanding of data models, lineage, and attributes to ensure deliverables are possible with minimal data enrichment or data translation

  • Understand wholesale lending life cycle. Different types of whole lending loan products, stakeholders and process.

  • Acquire the Y 14 Regulatory requirements, engage relevant tech teams collect data, conduct data profiling, investigate data break issues, draw break insights, propose solutions and communicate it to stakeholders to validate the insights.

  • Create inter system reconciliation clear technical requirements and engage with tech teams to build the rules in systems.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct UAT testing, validate the UAT break output and help in promoting the rules to production.

  • Monitor the break rules, data quality scores and work with customers to resolve any data quality issues.

Job requirements

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Sound understanding of reconciliation development requirements (i.e. data, enrichment, validation, rule-based matching)

  • Previous middle office / operations experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • 3-5 years of related experience

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication skills

  • Attention to detail

Desired Experience:

  • Intercompany and intersystem experience

  • Solid understanding of wholesale lending (products, processes, and lifecycle)

 

Expectations Regarding Hybrid Working:

As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy on physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our clients now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly, this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita requires. However, some of our clients have now moved up to 4 or even 5 days in the office and we require candidates to be flexible to meet our clients’ demands. 

Salary Range: $110,000-$140,000
