Role Summary

This is a great opportunity to join our dynamic Consulting Business working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions. This specific role is within the Client Lifecycle Management solution area (Client Onboarding, Maintenance, Offboarding) and requires an understanding of the e2e process journeys, appreciation of stakeholder perspectives and common business needs.

As a Principal Consultant, you will work directly with our clients, providing expert advice and ensuring Delta Capita (DC) deliver to the highest standards. You will take a leading role in the organization as part of the firm’s management team. You will lead Consulting engagements, manage client relationships, and drive business growth by identifying opportunities and delivering innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial services, exceptional problem-solving skills, project management and/or business analysis experience, the ability to manage, motivate and inspire others, and a proven track record of delivering successful client engagements. You will have deep change management experience and prior success as a management consultant or within a change role in a financial services institution.

 Role and Responsibilities:

This role is ideal for someone with a mix of consulting experience, client management experience, entrepreneurial spirit, and experience in driving commercial success. You will combine project delivery knowledge, a can-do attitude, and a strong knowledge of and network within the financial services industry. Ideal candidate must have GoldTier experience and or knowledge of the software.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ownership of client relationships, building and maintaining strong relationships with key client stakeholders and accounts. Act as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor, demonstrating an understanding of their evolving needs, proactively identifying new opportunities for collaboration within Consulting and across the broader firm (e.g., Services).
  • Oversee the end-to-end delivery of Consulting CLM projects, particularly system/tech changes ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate delivery of project tasks from initiation to closure, including definition of project scope and objectives, budgetary considerations, resource allocation & training, formal documentation, delivery, monitoring and control, reporting and delivery assurance.
  • Day to day management, delivery oversight and central point crucial point of contact for the project, including creation and management of work orders / statements of work.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Create and maintain all project documentation e.g., Terms of reference/ project charters, project plans, status reports.
  • Establish and maintain governance processes including stakeholder mapping, governance forums (e.g. Operating & Steering Committees) and all supporting documentation.
  • Ensure resourcing is secured to deliver project and continually manage the team to ensure resource levels are optimized and team members are appropriately motivated.
  • Manage and oversee project plan and RAID log
  • Escalate risks and issues to senior management and client stakeholders where required to ensure they are appropriately and quickly addressed, documenting as ‘lessons learnt.’
  • Build and manage relationships with project stakeholders, ensuring appropriate level and frequency of communication.
  • Ensure decisions and outcomes are formally documented via minutes, sign-off project documentation or any other client specific tools.
  • Support and challenge the project team to ensure best practice processes are followed and desired project outcome is achieved.
  • Be an active member of the Consulting and DC community.
  • Working with regional and international senior leaders to build out our CLM consulting offering in the US, deepening our relationships with key global clients.
  • Manage a team of technical consultants ensuring high quality delivery throughout the project lifecycle. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants, fostering their professional growth and development. Lead by example, promoting a collaborative and innovative work culture in line with DC’s values.
  • Identify potential business opportunities within existing and new clients. Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams and Consulting leadership to develop campaigns, respond to RFPs, and contribute to the growth of DC’s Consulting practices.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives and drive consulting expertise. Raise awareness of relevant client/industry trends, emerging technologies, regulation, and best practice. Lead on knowledge sharing sessions, client events, thought leadership articles, whitepapers, presentations, and industry conferences.
  • Provide career advice and development opportunities for more junior consultants outside of your immediate client project.
  • Propose ideas for continuous improvement and operational excellence. Identify opportunities to enhance methodologies, tools, and processes to optimize efficiency and develop DC IP.



Job requirements

Experience:

Principal Consultant, you will have:

GoldTier experience or knowledge preferred.

  • Proven experience (minimum 8 years) in Management Consulting, Project Management, Business Analysis, or related field, ideally within Financial Services.
  • At least one accreditation in known project methodologies (e.g. Prince2, Scrum or other agile).
  • Change management expertise: Strategy, Design, Analysis, Project Management, Build Testing, Go-Live, ideally relating to systems implementation from requirements through testing to delivery and live-maintenance.
  • An understanding of Financial Services products, challenges, trends, regulation. Desired would be would-be relevant experience supporting the Anti Money Laundering/Client Lifecycle space within financial Institutions (KYC/AML Compliance, Due diligence etc)
  • Experience in managing projects and teams, supporting successful project/programmed deliveries across multi-disciplinary project teams.
  • Good knowledge of the capital markets eco-system and participants. E.g. Sell side, buy side, market infrastructure, etc.
  • Demonstratable strong client relationship management skills with the ability to build trust, influence decision-making.
  • Identified opportunities for upselling and cross-selling in previous roles and bring ideas on how to apply this in DC.
  • Personally made valuable contributions to products, solutions and teams and can articulate the value it brought to your employer and/or clients.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex concepts to diverse audiences. Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

Salary Range: $140,000-$160,000
