Job description
The role will support Operations programme management specifically for FX development for Indian market.
It will involve management of the Operations team and deliveries, and support workstream leads across functions, divisions, and business groups. A good working knowledge of the financial services industry is essential and experience with the India FX market operations.
- Direction and creation of materials for programme charters, governance models, workstream structures, key dependencies, RAID logs along with appropriate version controls.
- Development and application of appropriate standards across the programme management tool set.
- Management of work plan development, requirements collection, issues, risks and scope changes throughout all phases.
- Understanding and driving FX technical and subject matter development.
- Working with stakeholders to prioritize work and drive milestones to completion.
- Managing risks and issues with owners and providing appropriate reporting and escalation.
- Preparing reports and status updates to different stakeholder and governance groups.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Very strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Developing effective working relationships and demonstrating a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Job requirements
Required
- Relevant years of project and programme management experience, including working within larger multi-divisional programs. Ideally someone with 12+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Highly motivated and able to work both individually and within a team
- Capability to approach problems as challenges and deal with them constructively.
- Ability to create and leverage Programme Management documents and tools.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Subject matter knowledge of the India FX market and functions in Middle office /Back office Operations.
