Project Manager/Implementation Consultant - Model Risk Management

Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager/Implementation Consultant to join our Trading, Pricing, and Risk division at Delta Capita in New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and software implementation, with a focus on Model Risk Management. This role involves working closely with clients to ensure successful deployment and integration of our software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage client-facing software implementation projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and requirements.

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software applications.

  • Provide training and support to clients during and after implementation.

  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in Model Risk Management.

Job requirements

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in client-facing software implementation or IT projects.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing software applications (e.g., BPM software, ECM software, and/or RPA technologies) as an IT Business Analyst, IT Consultant, or IT System Analyst.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Science, Engineering, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of workflow systems and their application to business process improvement (e.g., UML swimlanes, systems used by multiple departments in large organizations, trade/confirmation/payment flows in financial institutions).

  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent client-facing communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements.

  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • Hands-on experience in database and SQL.

  • Comfortable with software architecture and integration.

  • Experience working with financial institutions.

  • Experience in model risk management, model development, or model validation.

Salary Range:

$75,000-$90,000 (dependent on experience)
