Project Manager/Implementation Consultant - Model Risk Management
Location: New York, NY
Employment Type: Full-time
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager/Implementation Consultant to join our Trading, Pricing, and Risk division at Delta Capita in New York. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and software implementation, with a focus on Model Risk Management. This role involves working closely with clients to ensure successful deployment and integration of our software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage client-facing software implementation projects, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes and requirements.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of software applications.
Provide training and support to clients during and after implementation.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in Model Risk Management.
Job requirements
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Proven experience in project management, preferably in client-facing software implementation or IT projects.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing software applications (e.g., BPM software, ECM software, and/or RPA technologies) as an IT Business Analyst, IT Consultant, or IT System Analyst.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of workflow systems and their application to business process improvement (e.g., UML swimlanes, systems used by multiple departments in large organizations, trade/confirmation/payment flows in financial institutions).
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
Excellent client-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to quickly adapt to changing requirements.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Hands-on experience in database and SQL.
Comfortable with software architecture and integration.
Experience working with financial institutions.
Experience in model risk management, model development, or model validation.
Salary Range:
$75,000-$90,000 (dependent on experience)
