This is a great opportunity for a highly skilled Python Developer to support a strategic client engagement. We are looking for candidates who can deliver robust, scalable Python solutions across data transformation, API integration, and deployment pipelines.
Job requirements
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop modular, maintainable Python codebases using both procedural and object-oriented paradigms.
Build and expose RESTful APIs using FastAPI or Flask, ensuring secure integration with API Gateway.
Handle complex data ingestion and transformation tasks using Pandas and NumPy.
Implement field-level and cross-file data validation checks, ensuring schema integrity and referential consistency.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy solutions via CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
Configure environments, manage secrets, and support containerisation using Docker.
Required Skills & Experience
Core Python Development
Advanced proficiency in Python 3.x
Strong understanding of exception handling and error management
Experience in modular code design for scalability
Data Handling & Transformation
Expertise in Pandas and NumPy for:
Bulk data ingestion
Multi-file processing
Schema validation and cleansing
Familiarity with rule engines or custom validation frameworks
API & Integration
RESTful API development using FastAPI or Flask
JSON/XML payload handling, request/response management
Authentication protocols (OAuth2, RBAC)
DevOps & Deployment
CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
Basic Docker knowledge and cloud deployment familiarity
Environment configuration and version control best practices
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven experience in financial services or regulated environments
Able to work independently and manage deliverables in a fast-paced setting
Strong communication skills and stakeholder engagement
