Regulatory Business Analyst (AML)
Dublin based
12 month FTC - with potential for further extension
Role Summary
This is a great opportunity to join our fast-growing Consulting and Regulatory Solutions Business, working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions.
As a Regulatory Business Analyst (AML Focus), the successful candidate will work directly with our clients across a range of capabilities including analysis, requirements validation, data model and sourcing, mapping, controls, test design, and more. You will ensure the client receives the quality consulting services that Delta Capita (DC) offers and act as the primary point of contact between the customer and DC as part of our Global Consulting team.

Job requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Critically assess processes with a strong knowledge of Irish and EU regulatory frameworks relating to Financial Crime, including AMLD, 5AMLD/6AMLD
Apply guidance from European Supervisory Authorities (EBA, ESMA, EIOPA) and the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) when assessing regulatory developments, business impacts, and proportionate compliance measures
Familiarity with upcoming EU legislative changes such as the EU AML Authority (AMLA) establishment and the AML Regulation package
Lead and support AML-related regulatory initiatives across various entity types: Corporate, Listed, and Private firms
Perform regulatory gap analysis and contribute to remediation planning
Support BAU AML tasks as needed
Deliver multiple workstreams in a dynamic, regulatory-driven environment
Ensure timely delivery against strict deadlines
Provide insights and experience to enhance client outcomes
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency
Skills and experience:
Hands-on experience in AML roles across different entity types
Experience in Capital Markets is beneficial
Strong commercial attitude and client relationship management skills
Experience in Capital Management, Operations, Middle Office, Operational Risk, Liquidity Management is a plus
Exposure to regulatory frameworks such as MiFID II / MiFIR, Operational Resilience
Demonstrated experience in leveraging technology for efficient workflow management
Previous consulting experience is desirable
Project Management certification is a plus

This is a fixed term contract position located in Dublin. Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our client’s now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require.
