Role Summary

This is a great opportunity to join our fast-growing Consulting and Regulatory Solutions Business working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions.


As a Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst, the successful candidate will work directly with our clients across a range of capabilities including analysis, requirements validation, data model and sourcing, mapping, controls, test design and others. You will ensure the client receives the quality consulting services that Delta Capita (DC) offers. You will be the primary point of contact between the customer and DC as part of our Global Consulting team based in Hong Kong.

The Role and Responsibilities

No day will look the same. This role is ideal for someone with exceptional client experience to a broad range of clients and ensure the fast and effective management of client workflows. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in managing client integration projects, both small and large. The successful candidate will need to be comfortable working with clients, analyse regulatory requirements, and working with client development teams to implement solutions, answering regulatory queries.

Job requirements

Skills and Experience

As an experienced Regulatory Reporting Business Analyst, you will have:

  • Perform business analysis and gather requirements for trade and transaction reporting across major regulatory regimes, including, MAS, ASIC, HKMA and JFSA
  • Perform gap analyses, new data fields interpretation for various Rewrites: MAS, ASIC, JFSA
  • Translate regulatory requirements into business requirements and functional specifications; manage client data extraction, transformation, and loading
  • Collaborate with technology, operations, sales, and business development to deliver regulatory reporting solutions
  • Write tests scripts based on business use cases to cover relevant scenarios for Rewrite requirements
  • Able to work with Development and QA during testing to ensure implementation meets design and requirements
  • Oversee Sanity and Component testing of new features during the development phase & review of Test Plans
  • Support the implementation of small or medium size projects
  • Act as a liaison between the client and the delivery team to define and validate client requirements
  • Partnering with developers and testers in designing and delivery solutions
  • Maintain strong partnership with internal and external stakeholders


It would be great if you:

  • Previous consulting experience
  • Experience in Capital Management, Operations, Middle Office, Operational Risk, Liquidity Management is beneficial.
  • Regulatory exposure in any of the following: MiFID II / MiFIR, Basel, IBOR, FRTB, CRD & CRR, SFTR, Operational Resilience would be beneficial.
