Delta Capita is recruiting a Sales Director / Senior Sales Executive with a proven track record of originating and closing new business opportunities across Capital Markets. The successful candidate will bring a strong network across Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, exchanges, market infrastructure providers and financial institutions, with established relationships across Operations, Post Trade, Regulatory Reporting, Technology, COO and Change functions.

As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking a driven commercial leader to expand our client base across the US and EMEA, selling Delta Capita's market-leading Regulatory Reporting, Post Trade Managed Services, Advisory and Technology Solutions.

You will own the full sales lifecycle, from prospect identification and opportunity origination through to contract signature, targeting senior stakeholders across Operations, Regulatory Reporting, Post Trade, Technology and COO functions. This is a hunter role suited to an ambitious sales professional with an established industry network and a passion for building new client relationships.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities

  1. Originate new client opportunities across Regulatory Reporting, Post Trade Services, Managed Services, Advisory and Technology Solutions.

  2. Identify and develop prospects through industry networks, conferences, referrals, market mapping, LinkedIn and targeted business development activity.

  3. Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting through to commercial negotiation and signed contract.

  4. Drive new business opportunities across Capital Markets Operations, Regulatory Reporting, Post Trade and Market Infrastructure functions.

  5. Promote Delta Capita's consulting, technology and managed services capabilities, including assurance, remediation and transformation engagements.

  6. Develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers across banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, exchanges and financial market infrastructure providers.

  7. Maintain accurate pipeline management and forecasting within Salesforce.

  8. Partner with subject matter experts to shape proposals, responses to RFPs and client solutions.

  9. Manage internal stakeholders across sales, delivery, consulting, product and leadership teams to ensure successful pursuit and conversion of opportunities.

 

Required Experience

  1. Strong background in Capital Markets, Post Trade Services, Regulatory Reporting, Market Infrastructure, Financial Technology or Managed Services.

  2. Proven track record selling technology, consulting or managed services solutions into financial institutions.

  3. Experience engaging with senior stakeholders across Operations, COO, Technology, Regulatory Reporting, Risk, Compliance and Change functions.

  4. Good understanding of one or more of the following areas:

    • Regulatory Reporting

    • Trade & Transaction Reporting

    • Post Trade Operations

    • Clearing & Settlement

    • Middle Office

    • Reconciliations

    • Collateral Management

    • Reference Data

    • Corporate Actions

    • Market Infrastructure Services

  5. Extensive network across Tier 1 and Tier 2 banks, broker-dealers, asset managers, custodians, exchanges or financial market infrastructure providers.

  6. Demonstrable experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles involving business, technology, operations, procurement and executive stakeholders.

  7. Experience selling SaaS, managed services, outsourcing, consulting or operational transformation solutions.
