Sales Executive

New York – Hybrid working

Salary - $100k to $200k

Experience Required: 5+ years working with/in Capital Markets Operations

Overview

We are looking for a proactive and ambitious Sales Executive to expand our client base in the US for Post Trade and OTC Derivatives Services. The role is focused on sales origination, with an emphasis on identifying and closing opportunities to provide resourcing, managed services, and post-trade solutions into the operations functions of global and regional banks.

You will work directly with clients Global Markets Operations, Technology and Business Management stakeholders and will be responsible for selling our growing range of OTC Derivative technology and services solutions, as well as our resourcing solutions targeted at remediation projects, capacity issues and operations specialists.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Originate new client opportunities in OTC derivatives operations and post-trade services

  • Identify and develop prospects via cold outreach, LinkedIn, conferences, and referrals

  • Manage the entire sales cycle – from initial contact through to signed contract

  • Develop strong relationships with operations leads, operations technology teams, procurement, and COOs

  • Promote services across the Post-Trade middle office and operations trade lifecycle functions (e.g. Confirmations, Trade Support, Settlements, Collateral Management, Asset Servicing etc.) and resourcing

  • Maintain accurate pipeline data in CRM and support internal reporting processes

  • Leverage internal experts to shape proposals and RFP responses

  • Internal stakeholder management ensuring effective communication and coordination across the organisation, with all levels of seniority

Required Experience

  • Knowledge of post-trade operations and OTC derivatives

  • Background in sales or client-facing delivery within capital markets or fintech

  • Experience in selling resourcing or consulting services into financial institutions

  • Familiarity with the end-to-end sales lifecycle including proposal creation and pricing

  • Exposure to technology, resource augmentation, and managed services models in financial services
