Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Consultant with a strong background in ASIC and MAS OTC derivatives transaction reporting. This role is ideal for a professional with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in regulatory reporting implementation, who can lead and support health checks and assurance reviews for financial institutions. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and support health check and assurance projects for OTC derivatives reporting under ASIC and MAS regimes. 

  • Assess and validate end-to-end reporting processes, including trade capture, enrichment, reporting logic, submission, and reconciliation. 

  • Evaluate and enhance controls, governance frameworks, and operational processes to ensure compliance and reporting accuracy. 

  • Collaborate with client stakeholders across compliance, operations, technology, and front office to gather requirements and provide actionable insights. 

  • Identify gaps and recommend improvements in data quality, system design and reporting controls. 

  • Stay updated with regulatory developments and ensure alignment with evolving ASIC and MAS reporting obligations. 

Job requirements

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 5 years of direct experience in ASIC and MAS OTC derivatives transaction reporting. 

  • Proven track record in end-to-end implementation of regulatory reporting solutions. 

  • Deep understanding of in-house client processes, including trade lifecycle, data sourcing, exception management, and governance. 

  • Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting platforms, trade repositories, and data transformation tools. 

  • Experience working in or with financial institutions or consulting firms on regulatory compliance projects. 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
