Role Summary

This is a great opportunity to join our dynamic business working with some of the world’s leading financial institutions. This specific role is within the Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) technology transformation area (Client Onboarding, Maintenance, Offboarding). This role requires hands on experience and knowledge with technical analysis, software design & implementation, configurations, deployments, release control in line with IT strategy and enterprise technical standards.


As a Technical Consultant, you will work directly with our technical lead, project manager, developers, testers, and other configuration specialists, supporting implementation ensuring Delta Capita (DC) delivers to the highest standards. You will support delivery of projects to implement new software for clients, or changes to implementation ensuring optimal quality. This is to configure and customise our key workflow software to the requirements of the client/s. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of technology stacks used in financial services, strong problem-solving skills, and a proven track record.


This is to join an existing team that develops and implements software that is focused on providing Client Onboarding and KYC solutions to financial institutions, with complex clients and products. It combines the necessary components of Data Model, Client Hierarchy, Workflow, Business Rules, Data Management, and Documentation Management for the purpose of Client Onboarding and KYC.

The Role and Responsibilities


This role is ideal for someone with a mix of consulting experience, technical SME experience, entrepreneurial spirit, and experience in driving commercial success. You will combine technical delivery and SDLC (software delivery lifecycle) know-how, a can-do attitude, and a strong hands-on expertise with design and implementations within the financial services industry.


Responsibilities include:

  • Delivers projects that involve implementing the software for new clients, customising the product offering/workflow/forms/integrations for existing clients and enhancing the capabilities of the core platform.
  • Liaises directly with clients to identify and document business and technical requirements, recommending implementation and design options.
  • Supports technical planning, estimations, development, build and deployment phases of the software project lifecycle. Collaborates with technical lead, client facing Project manager, other Tech Consultants (TCs), QAs and BAs across the broader firm.
  • Manages ad hoc technical configuration change/enhancements requested and coordinates them with other involved parties.
  • Supports application design, development, and implementation of configuration software changes (GoldTier).
  • Reviews technical issues raised during QA building and test execution. Reviews test data coverage for their area. Supports with defects verifications and helps with elements of QA testing.
  • Deliver tasks to high standard while adhering to implementation timelines.
  • Document deployment steps and liaise with client stakeholders to implement changes.
  • Update time tracking, issue tracking and reporting systems in a timely manner.
  • Actively participate in grooming sessions for core product enhancement, development, and testing.



Job requirements

Skills and Experience


As an experienced AVP/Vice President, you will have:

  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in a sw development, technical specialist, or related field, ideally within Financial Services.
  • Technical design and coding/config expertise: system design, sizing and estimations of change needed, build, deployments, and package quality control, relating to systems implementation from design, coding through testing to delivery and live maintenance.
  • Some understanding of CLM end to end in large financial institutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical matters to diverse audiences.
  • Evidence of collaborative working within a globally distributed Change / Professional Services or technical implementations team.
  • Experience working with clients remotely in other geographic locations.
  • Technical experience backed up with understanding of configuring/coding: Relational databases and SQL, JavaScript, Java, Web servers, APIs, XML
