Job description

We are looking for an experienced, client-facing Senior Technical Business Analyst to join our Structured Retail Products (SRP) Platform team and support a key client account. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, product, and engineering, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and delivered end-to-end within a complex capital markets platform.

This is a hands-on role within the product team, working closely with clients and engineers to translate business needs into clear, actionable specifications and drive delivery through to completion.

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead requirements definition and translate business needs into clear functional specs

  • Own Jira user stories, acceptance criteria, and documentation

  • Work closely with clients and engineering teams to shape and deliver solutions

  • Support solution design discussions with a strong technical understanding

  • Drive requirements through the full delivery lifecycle (definition → build → testing → release)

  • Validate solutions through functional testing and business sign-off

  • Communicate clearly with stakeholders on scope, progress, and risks

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst (typically 5+ years), ideally within investment banking or capital markets

  • Strong client-facing experience and stakeholder management skills

  • Experience working in Agile environments with engineering teams

  • Strong Jira/spec writing skills (user stories, acceptance criteria)

  • Good technical understanding of APIs, data flows, and system integrations

  • Proven ability to own delivery end-to-end

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with structured products

  • Familiarity with front-to-back workflows in capital markets or issuance-related platforms

  • Exposure to internal UAT, client acceptance processes, or pre-release validation activities
