Structured Products Analyst

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

We are recruiting for a number of legal documentation drafting and transaction management roles within our Structured Products team at Delta Capita in Frankfurt. Our team provide legal documentation drafting, issuance and life cycle support to cross-asset structured products businesses at a range of tier one Investment Banks.

An integral part of the role involves working closely alongside internal departments and on client side with front office and support departments. The role will cover a range of Transaction Management related functions and regulatory required documentation tasks.

Essential Experience:

The candidate must be fluent in German and English and should be experienced with Structured Products, including familiarity of the requirements of such issuance and German market usances.

We are looking to recruit an experienced team member with experience in the area described but also are interested in hiring highly motivated team members with a strong will to learn and grow in the Structured Products business. A good understanding of the German securities market is essential.

The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• Provide new issuance support and transaction support to the structured products business

• Arrange for product to be set up on German vendor systems;
• Draft and review legal documentation (Pricing Supplements, Final Terms, Summaries and ancillary documentation) for structured product transactions under both English law and German law programmes;

• Manage a pipeline queue of transactions to strict deadlines;
• Initiate process improvements and leverage technology for document and workflow automation;
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client contacts in Operations, Structuring, Legal and Sales;

• Experience within the financial service industry for securities or structured products;

• Highly organized and extremely detail oriented;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Ability to prioritise workflow in order to meet deadlines;
• Past experience of working as part of a team and understanding the impact that delivery of your work has on your colleagues;
• A strong work ethic proven by previous working experience;
• Word, Excel, Outlook (or similar) skills to a high standard.

• Ability to take on and manage a variety of different tasks; and Drive continuous improvements.

Desirable skills:

• A relevant degree from a top tier University or banking education;
• Experience in IT system implementation projects (programming or core IT skills not necessarily required);
• Experience working within an Investment Bank or Financial Services Consulting firm; and
• Experience in processing of securities and/or derivatives in middle office, primary settlement, and or Life Cycle Event Processing.
