We are looking for candidates to join our Structured Products team in New York to support our legal documentation drafting roles. Our team provide legal documentation drafting and issuance support to cross-asset structured products businesses at a range of Tier One Investment Banks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • The drafting and review of legal documentation (Pricing Supplements including preliminary and final, Final Terms, Summaries and ancillary documentation) for structured product transactions;
  • Management of a pipeline queue of transactions to strict deadlines;
  • Partnering with legal departments and/or external counsel, when required, to seek advice and review legal documentation and templates for new or adapted payoffs;
  • Initiating process improvements and leveraging technology for document automation;
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with client contacts in Operations, Structuring, Legal and Trading.

Job requirements

  • Experience within the financial service industry drafting issuance documentation for securities or structured products, or complex or non-standard derivatives;
  • Experience working on structured products and/or derivative transactions;
  • Highly organized and extremely detail oriented;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Ability to prioritize workflow in order to meet deadlines;
  • Past experience of working as part of a team and understanding the impact that delivery of your work has on your colleagues;
  • High attention to detail and pride in delivering high quality work;
  • A strong work ethic proven by previous working experience;
  • Word, Excel, Outlook (or similar) skills to a high standard.

Salary Range: $70,000-$100,000

Expectations regarding hybrid working: As we are a Service Provider and Consulting firm servicing clients, our policy for physically working from the office (which may be the client’s offices or our own offices depending on the client) aligns to what our client’s policies and expectations are and these vary. Most of our client’s now require a minimum of 3 days per week in the office, 2 days from home, and accordingly this is also the minimum expectation that Delta Capita require. For this initial role, the client requires the candidate to be in a minimum of 3 days a week. We require candidates to be flexible to meet our client demands.
